Paippalāda-Saṃhitā · Chapter 4.18

4.18.1

vrātam aham apakṣṇānāṃ
vrātaṃ muṇḍīyasām uta |
vrātaṃ muṇḍivlānām ahaṃ
pra dhvāṅkṣām̐ iva cātaye ||

4.18.2

pravaktā pramādayitā
nidrā tandrīs tṛtīyakaḥ |
tāñ jaṅgiḍasyāgninā
sarvān prati dahāmasi||

4.18.3

aśuddhān naḥ pari pāhi
rakṣobhya uta jaṅgiḍa |
yātudhānāt kimīdinas
tasmān naḥ pāhi jaṅgiḍa ||

4.18.4

apsarābhyo gandharvebhyo
devebhyo asurebhyaḥ |
atho sarvasmāt pāpmanas
tasmān naḥ pāhi jaṅgiḍa ||

4.18.5

ni te śatrūn dahati devo agnir
nir arātim amatiṃ yātudhānān |
ā yāhi śatrūn duritāpaghnañ
chatān no yakṣmebhyaḥ pari pāhi jaṅgiḍa ||

4.18.6

akarmāgnim adhipām asya devam
anvārapsva sahasā daivyena |
sahasvān naḥ sahasā pātu jaṅgiḍo
yathā jayema pṛtanājyeṣu ||

4.18.7

satyo agniḥ satyā āpaḥ
satye me dyāvāpṛthivī viśvaśaṃbhuvau |
satyam idaṃ brahmāsmākaṃ kṛtam astu
yam abadhnād uśanendrāya
taṃ te badhnāmi jaṅgiḍam ||
