Become a volunteer

How it works

1. Make your free volunteer account.
2. Send an old printed book: upload its PDF, or give a link (archive.org, Google Books, a library site…).
3. We check it, read it with OCR, take out only the original verses and add them to the ग्रंथ पाठ, with your name among the contributors.

Which books?

Books printed before 1930, or whose author / editor died more than 60 years ago. A book with a translation or commentary is fine too: we take only the original Sanskrit verses from it.

Open for everyone

Everything you send, and everything we make from it, stays free and open for all under the Creative Commons licence CC BY-SA 4.0: anyone may use it, giving credit and keeping it open. CC BY-SA 4.0
