Sacred Texts & Philosophy

This is where I gather my writing on the primary textual foundations of Sanatan Dharma — the Vedas, the Upanishads, and the philosophical vocabulary built on top of them. Each article here starts from what a specific verse or text actually says, in its own words, before turning to how traditional commentators have read it and, where genuinely relevant, how it compares with a modern scientific or philosophical idea. This collection is still small and growing: right now it covers select Upanishads, a handful of Vedic concepts, festivals rooted in this tradition, and ongoing explorations of consciousness in Vedantic thought. I add to it slowly, and only once I've done the reading to back up what I'm writing.
