Paippalāda-Saṃhitā · Chapter 3.40

3.40.1

tejanāt tyajanaṃ jātaṃ
tejanaṃ jāyate śarāt |
na yeṣati na śocati
yas tvā bibharti tejana ||

3.40.2

parutnam asi tejana
parutnaṃ te prabhañjanam |
parutno astu sa kāmo
yenāmūṃ kāmayāmahe ||

3.40.3

yāvad oṣaḥ śaro astvo
janebhyaḥ kṛṇavad bhayam |
tāvad oṣas tvaṃ tejana
tyajanaṃ bhavatād iha ||

3.40.4

tyajanaṃ ma āpo dadhan
tyajanaṃ maruto dadhan |
tyajanaṃ me viśve devās
tyajanaṃ pitaro dadhan ||

3.40.5

tenāham anyeṣāṃ striyo
atyākṣaṃ vidviṣaḥ purā |
purā dviṣo atyākṣaṃ
purā madhyandinād uta |
purā sāyatvād atyākṣaṃ
tejane hi mahad balam ||

3.40.6

asthād dyaur asthāt pṛthivy
asthād viśvam idaṃ jagat |
asthād avahṛdevāt
tiṣṭhāt kāmo ayaṃ tava ||
