Paippalāda-Saṃhitā · Chapter 16.85

16.85.1

yan manyur jāyām āvahat
saṃkalpasya gṛhād adhi |
ka āsañ janyāḥ ke varāḥ
ka u jyeṣṭhavaro 'bhavat ||

16.85.2

tapaś caivāstāṃ karma ca-
-antar mahaty arṇave |
ta āsan janyās te varāḥ
sa u jyeṣṭhavaro 'bhavat ||

16.85.3

daśa sākam ajāyanta
devā devebhyaḥ paraḥ |
yo vai tāṃ vidyān nāmathā
sa vā adya mahad vadet ||

16.85.4

prāṇāpāṇau cakṣuḥ śrotram
akṣitiś ca kṣitiś ca yā |
vyānodāno vāṅ manas te
vā ākūtim ā vahan ||

16.85.5

ajātā āsann ṛtavo
'tho dhātā bṛhaspatiḥ |
indrāgnī aśvinā tarhi
kaṃ te jyeṣṭham upāsata ||

16.85.6

tapaś caivāstāṃ karma ca-
-antar mahaty arṇave |
tapo ha jajñe karmaṇas
taṃ te jyeṣṭham upāsata ||

16.85.7

kuta indraḥ kutaḥ somaḥ
kuto agnir ajāyata |
kutas tvaṣṭā sam abhavad
dhātā sam abhavat kutaḥ ||

16.85.8

indrād indraḥ somāt somo
agner agnir ajāyata |
tvaṣṭā ha jajñe tvaṣṭur
dhātā dhātur ajāyata ||

16.85.9

ye ta āsan daśa jātā
devā devebhyaḥ paraḥ |
putrebhyo lokaṃ dattvā
kasmin te loka āsate ||

16.85.10

yeto bhūmiḥ purvāsīd
yām addhātaya id viduḥ |
ke tasyāṃ devā āsate
kasminn u sādhiśritā ||
