16.38.1

yatrayatrāsi nihitā
tatas tvotthāpayāmasi |
parṇāl laghīyasī bhava ||

16.38.2

yadi stha tamasāvṛtā
jālenābhihitā yūyam |
sarvāḥ saṃlupyetaḥ kṛtyāḥ
punaḥ kartre pra hiṇmasi ||

16.38.3

kṛtyākṛtaṃ mūlakṛtam
abhiniṣkāriṇaḥ prajām |
mṛṇīhi kṛtye moc chiṣo
amuṃ kṛtyākṛtaṃ jahi ||

16.38.4

yathā sūryas tamaso mucyate pari
rātriṃ jahāty uṣasaś ca ketūn |
evāhaṃ sarvaṃ durbhūtaṃ
hastīva rajo duritaṃ jahāmi ||
