Paippalāda-Saṃhitā · Chapter 4.24

4.24.1

apaś ca rapaś ca-
-ūṣmā ca bāṣpaś ca |
śokaś cābhiśokaś ca
tṛtīyekaś ca pareparaś ca
takmāna ito naśyata ||

4.24.2

veda vai te takman nāma-
-agniṣ ṭvaṃ nāmāsi |
taṃ tveto vi nayāmaḥ śani takmā ||

4.24.3

vṛtrasya haro 'si nabhaso napāt |
dyauś cāsmat pṛthivī ca
takmānaṃ nāśayatām itaḥ ||

4.24.4

pañcapsinir nāma te mātā
sa u ekapsinir ucyase |
tasyāhaṃ veda te nāma
sa takman nir ato drava ||

4.24.5

audumbaraś ca nāmāsi
priyātithiś ca |
taṃ tveto nāśayāmasi
brahmaṇā vīryāvatā ||

4.24.6

yo 'si jalpaṃś ca lapaṃś ca-
-āvāṃ ca tapaṃś ca |
tṛtīyekaś ca mauñjigalaś ca
te takmāna ito naśyata ||

4.24.7

vikilīda vilohita
vikāśakraṃdarajjana |
giriṃ gaccha dhūmaketo
hṛṣe namāṃsi santu te ||

4.24.8

bṛhat tvam agne rakṣo adhamaṃ jahi
madhyamaṃ ny uttamaṃ śṛṇīhi |
śaṃ no agnir jyotiranīko astu
śaṃ dyāvāpṛthivī anehasā ||

4.24.9

māteva pitevābhi rakṣatainaṃ
muñcatainaṃ pary aṃhasaḥ ||
