2.55.1

divo jāto divas putro
yasmāj jātaṃ mahat sahaḥ |
aśvattham agre jaitrāya-
-acchā devaṃ vadāmasi ||

2.55.2

taṃ tvāśvā yathā ratham
upa tiṣṭhantu rājānaḥ |
samitibhyo vivaktave ||

2.55.3

tvayā vayaṃ devajāta
sarvāḥ prāśo jayāmasi |
uta satyā utānṛtāḥ ||

2.55.4

yo aśvatthena mitreṇa
samitīr avagacchati |
jayāt sa sarvāḥ pṛtanā
yāś ca satyā utānṛtāḥ ||

2.55.5

adharāñco nir dravantu
samityā ululākṛtāḥ |
aśvatthamitraṃ puruṣaṃ
ye vācā pṛtanyān ||
