2.55.1

दिवो जातो दिवस् पुत्रो
यस्माज् जातं महत् सहः ।
अश्वत्थम् अग्रे जैत्राय-
-अच्छा देवं वदामसि ॥

2.55.2

तं त्वाश्वा यथा रथम्
उप तिष्ठन्तु राजानः ।
समितिभ्यो विवक्तवे ॥

2.55.3

त्वया वयं देवजात
सर्वाः प्राशो जयामसि ।
उत सत्या उतानृताः ॥

2.55.4

यो अश्वत्थेन मित्रेण
समितीर् अवगच्छति ।
जयात् स सर्वाः पृतना
याश् च सत्या उतानृताः ॥

2.55.5

अधराञ्चो निर् द्रवन्तु
समित्या उलुलाकृताः ।
अश्वत्थमित्रं पुरुषं
ये वाचा पृतन्यान् ॥
