sa devān āgacchat
taṃ devā abruvann
āśaṃsāmahe gurv etad vratam āraṇyeṣu paśuṣu grāmyeṣv aty eti ||
so 'naḍvāham upādhāvat
tam anaḍvān abravīt
kiṃ me pratīvāho bhaviṣyatīti
varaṃ vṛṇīṣveti sa varam avṛṇīta ||
bradhnaloko 'sāni bradhnasya viṣṭapi śrayā iti ||
ṣoḍaśo vā ita ūrdhvo loko yad bradhno yad bradhnasya viṣṭapaḥ ||
bradhnaloko bhavati bradhnasya viṣṭapi śrayate
