18.38.1

यस्याधिश्रिते अग्निहोत्र एवं विद्वान् व्रात्यो ऽतिथिर् गृहम् आगच्छेत् ।
स्वयम् एनम् अभ्युदेत्य ब्रूयाद् व्रात्याति सृज होष्यामीति ।
अति च सृजेज् जुहूयान् न चातिसृजेन् न जुहूयात् ।
यो वा एवं विदुषा व्रात्येनानतिसृष्टो जुहोति ।
न देवयानं पन्थां प्र जानाति न पितृयाणम्
आ देवेषु वृश्चते ऽहुतम् अस्य भवति ।
यो वा एवं विदुषा व्रात्येनानतिसृष्टो जुहोति ।
प्र देवयानं पन्थां जानाति प्र पितृयानं
पर्य् अस्यास्मिँल् लोक आयतनं शिष्यते हुतम् अस्य भवति ॥
