18.38.1

યસ્યાધિશ્રિતે અગ્નિહોત્ર એવં વિદ્વાન્ વ્રાત્યો ઽતિથિર્ ગૃહમ્ આગચ્છેત્ ।
સ્વયમ્ એનમ્ અભ્યુદેત્ય બ્રૂયાદ્ વ્રાત્યાતિ સૃજ હોષ્યામીતિ ।
અતિ ચ સૃજેજ્ જુહૂયાન્ ન ચાતિસૃજેન્ ન જુહૂયાત્ ।
યો વા એવં વિદુષા વ્રાત્યેનાનતિસૃષ્ટો જુહોતિ ।
ન દેવયાનં પન્થાં પ્ર જાનાતિ ન પિતૃયાણમ્
આ દેવેષુ વૃશ્ચતે ઽહુતમ્ અસ્ય ભવતિ ।
યો વા એવં વિદુષા વ્રાત્યેનાનતિસૃષ્ટો જુહોતિ ।
પ્ર દેવયાનં પન્થાં જાનાતિ પ્ર પિતૃયાનં
પર્ય્ અસ્યાસ્મિઁલ્ લોક આયતનં શિષ્યતે હુતમ્ અસ્ય ભવતિ ॥
