16.54.1

तस्यौदनस्य भूमिः कुम्भी द्यौर् अपिधानं
शिरो ऽभ्रम् ऊष्मा नीहारो बृहद् आयवनं रथन्तरं दर्विः ।
दिशः पार्श्वे सीताः पर्शवः सिकता ऊबध्यं
पललम् उपस्तरणम् अहोरात्रे विक्रमणे ओदनस्य ॥

16.54.2

वर्षं प्रोक्षणं मरुतः पर्यैन्धत किष्करवः परिधयः ।
ऋचा कुम्भ्य् अधिधीयत आर्त्विज्येन प्रेष्यते ब्रह्मणा प्रति गृह्यते ॥

16.54.3

य एतस्यौदनस्यैवं महिमानं विद्यात् ।
नाल्प इति ब्रूयान् नानुपसेचन इति नेदं च किं चेति ॥

16.54.4

यावद् दाताभिमनस्येत्
तं नातिवदेत् ।
ओदनेन यज्ञवचः
सर्वे लोकाः समाप्याः ॥

16.54.5

यस्मिन् समुद्रो द्यौर् भूमिस्
त्रयो ऽवरपरं श्रिताः ॥
