(सोद् अक्रामत्) सा वनस्पतीन् आगच्छत्
तां वनस्पतयो ऽघ्नत
सा संवत्सरे सम् अभवत् ।
तस्मात् संवत्सरे वनस्पतीनां वृक्णम् अपि रोहति
वृश्च्यन्त्य् अस्याप्रियं भ्रातृव्यं य (एवं वेद) ॥
(…) सा पितॄन् आगच्छत्
तां पितरो ऽघ्नत
सा मासे सम् अभवत् ।
तस्मान् मासे पितृभ्यो ददति
स्वधावान् पितृषु भवति प्र पितृयाणं पन्थां जानाति यः (…) ॥

तां देवा अघ्नत
सार्धमासे सम् अभवत् ।
तस्माद् अर्धमासे देवेभ्यो जुह्वति
