1.72.1

mahājanāḥ prathamā ye didīvire
dhane saṃhatya mahati dvirāje |
teṣāṃ vare yaḥ prathamo jigāya
tasyāhaṃ lokam anūd bhideyam ||

1.72.2

medinas te vaibhīdakās
tata indra upāvatu |
avyā vṛka iva saṃrabhya
jigīvān astam āyasi ||

1.72.3

udbāhū hiraṇyajid
gojid aśvajitau bhare |
vyāghro jaghnivām̐ iva-
-ut tiṣṭhādhidevanāt ||

1.72.4

ādinavaṃ pratidīvne
kṛtenāsmām̐ abhi kṣara |
vṛkṣam ivāśanyā jahi
yo asmān pratidīvyati ||
