1.72.1

महाजनाः प्रथमा ये दिदीविरे
धने संहत्य महति द्विराजे ।
तेषां वरे यः प्रथमो जिगाय
तस्याहं लोकम् अनूद् भिदेयम् ॥

1.72.2

मेदिनस् ते वैभीदकास्
तत इन्द्र उपावतु ।
अव्या वृक इव संरभ्य
जिगीवान् अस्तम् आयसि ॥

1.72.3

उद्बाहू हिरण्यजिद्
गोजिद् अश्वजितौ भरे ।
व्याघ्रो जघ्निवाँ इव-
-उत् तिष्ठाधिदेवनात् ॥

1.72.4

आदिनवं प्रतिदीव्ने
कृतेनास्माँ अभि क्षर ।
वृक्षम् इवाशन्या जहि
यो अस्मान् प्रतिदीव्यति ॥
