agne yaśasvin yaśasā vardhayemam
indrāvatīm upacitim ihā vaha |
ayaṃ mūrdhā parameṣṭhī suvarcāḥ
samānānām uttamaśloko astu ||
dhātā vidhartā paramota saṃdṛk
prajāpatiḥ parameṣṭhī virāṭ |
stomāś chandāṃsi nivido ma āhus
te asmai rāṣṭram upa saṃ namantu ||
bhadram icchanta ṛṣayaḥ svarvidas
tapo dīkṣām upa ni ṣedur agre |
tato rāṣṭraṃ balam ojaś ca jātaṃ
tad asmai devā upa saṃ namantu ||
upā vartadhvam upa na eta sarve
'yaṃ cettādhipatir vo astu
samānaṃ mantram abhi mantrayādhvā
imaṃ paścād upa jīvātha sarve ||
