इयत्तिका शकुन्तिका
सका जघास ते विषम् ।
माहं मृषि मो असौ पुरुषो मृत ।
स च न मरति मा वयं मराम ।
आरे अस्य योजनं हरिष्ठा
मधु त्वा मधुला करत् ॥

सूर्ये विषम् आ सृजामि
दृतिं सुरावतो गृहे ।

त्रिषप्ता विस्फुलिङ्गका
विषस्य पुष्पकम् अक्षन् ।

आल्वन्तरुटं विषं विदारी
करम्भो अरसं विषम् ।

वार् उग्रम् अरसं विषम्
अग्निश् च विश्वचर्षणिः ।

शकुन्तिका मे अब्रवीद्
विषपुष्पं धयन्तिका ।

न रोपयति न मादयति
