2.78.1

यथेदम् अश्विना तृणं
वातो वहति भूम्याः ।
एवा वयं वहामसि
यां वयं कामयामहे ॥

2.78.2

उत् त्वा माता स्थापयतु
प्र त्वा नुदताम् अश्विना ।
अधा शिशुर् इव मातरं
माम् एवान्व् एतु ते मनः ॥

2.78.3

यथा क्षीरं च सर्पिश् च
मनुष्याणां हृदः प्रियम् ।
एवाहम् अस्या नार्या
हृदो भूयासम् उत्तरः ॥

2.78.4

अग्नेष् ट्वा तपस् तपतु
वातस्य ध्राजिः ।
मा स्पृक्षथा निषदनाय साधव
उत् तिष्ठ प्रेह्य् अग्निवत् ते कृणोमि ॥

सूर्यस्य त्वा तपस् तपतु
वातस्य ध्राजिः ।
मा स्पृक्षथा निषदनाय साधव
उत् तिष्ठ प्रेहि सूर्यवत् ते कृणोमि ॥
