2.78.1

યથેદમ્ અશ્વિના તૃણં
વાતો વહતિ ભૂમ્યાઃ ।
એવા વયં વહામસિ
યાં વયં કામયામહે ॥

2.78.2

ઉત્ ત્વા માતા સ્થાપયતુ
પ્ર ત્વા નુદતામ્ અશ્વિના ।
અધા શિશુર્ ઇવ માતરં
મામ્ એવાન્વ્ એતુ તે મનઃ ॥

2.78.3

યથા ક્ષીરં ચ સર્પિશ્ ચ
મનુષ્યાણાં હૃદઃ પ્રિયમ્ ।
એવાહમ્ અસ્યા નાર્યા
હૃદો ભૂયાસમ્ ઉત્તરઃ ॥

અગ્નેષ્ ટ્વા તપસ્ તપતુ
વાતસ્ય ધ્રાજિઃ ।
મા સ્પૃક્ષથા નિષદનાય સાધવ
ઉત્ તિષ્ઠ પ્રેહ્ય્ અગ્નિવત્ તે કૃણોમિ ॥

સૂર્યસ્ય ત્વા તપસ્ તપતુ
વાતસ્ય ધ્રાજિઃ ।
મા સ્પૃક્ષથા નિષદનાય સાધવ
ઉત્ તિષ્ઠ પ્રેહિ સૂર્યવત્ તે કૃણોમિ ॥
