2.16.1

या शत्रून् प्राशंजया
सहमानाभिभूर् असि ।
सामून् प्रतिप्राशो जह्य्
अरसान् कृण्व् ओषधे ॥

2.16.2

सुपर्णस् त्वान्व् अविन्दत्
सूकरस् त्वाखनन् नसा ।
इन्द्रस् त्वा चक्रे बाह्वोर्
असुरेभ्य स्तरीतवे ॥

2.16.3

पाटाम् इन्द्रो व्य् आश्नाद्
धन्तवा असुरेभ्यः ।
तयाहं शत्रून् साक्षीय-
-इन्द्रः शालावृकान् इव ॥

2.16.4

रुद्र जलाषभेषज
नीलशिखण्ड कर्मकृत् ।
प्रश्नं दुरस्यतो जहि
यो अस्माँ अभिदासति ॥

2.16.5

तस्य प्रश्नं त्वं जहि
यो न इन्द्राभिदासति ।
अधि नो ब्रूहि शक्तिभिः
प्राशि माम् उत्तरं कृधि ॥
