पार्थिवा दिव्याः पशव
आरण्या ग्राम्या च ये ।
अपक्षाः पक्षिणश् च ये
ते जाता ब्रह्मचारिणः ॥
पृथक् सर्वे प्रजापत्याः
प्राणाँ आत्मसु बिभ्रति ।
सर्वांस् तान् ब्रह्म रक्षति
ब्रह्मचारिण्य् आभृतम् ॥
ब्रह्मचारी ब्रह्म भ्राजद् बिभर्ति
तस्मिन् देवा अधि विश्वे समेताः ।
स स्नातो बभ्रुः पिङ्गलः
पृथिव्यां बहु रोचते ॥
देवानाम् एतत् परिषूतम्
अनभ्यारूढं चरति रोचमानम् ।
तस्मिन् सर्वे पशवस् तत्र यज्ञास्
तस्मिन्न् अन्नं सह देवताभिः ॥
प्राणापानौ जनयन्न् आद् व्यानं
चक्षुः श्रोत्रं जनयन् ब्रह्म मेधाम् ।
वाचं श्रेष्ठां यशो अस्मासु धेह्य् ॥
अन्नं रेतो लोहितम् उदरं तानि कल्पन् ।
ब्रह्मचारी सलिलस्य पृष्ठे
तपो ऽतिष्ठत् तप्यमानः समुद्रे ॥
