1.97.1

अस्माञ् जुषध्वम् असवो ऽद्य
मा नः पुरा जरसो ऽसवो वधिष्ट ।
पाका गृणीमस् तव वीर्याय
शतं हिमान् अधिपतिर् न एहि ॥

1.97.2

उन् मृणो अगाद् आर्जुनम् अगात्
सुश्रुद् भगवो गोपाय मा ।
अह्ने ऽद्यात्मानं परि ददे
सूर्यप्राणो भवामि ॥

1.97.3

नि मृणो अगाद् आसितम् अगात्
सुश्रुद् भगवो गोपाय मा ।
रात्रये ऽद्यात्मानं परि ददे
अग्निप्राणो भवामि ॥

1.97.4

अनाभूर् अस्य् अनाभो
ऽनाभुवो भूयास्म ।
स यत्र त्वं प्रजापते
त्रिर् एकस्याह्नः प्रजाः संपश्यसि ।
तत्र माम् अपि सं पश्य-
-अनष्टपशुर् भुवनस्य गोपाः ॥
