1.70.1

यतो जीवेभ्यो न पितॄन् उपैति
यम् आनशे दुष्कृतं दैधिषव्यम् ।
अयज्ञियः प्रथमो यो विवेश
कृच्छ्राद् इज् ज्योतिर् अभ्य् अश्नवातै ॥

1.70.2

नास्यौषधीष्व् अप्य् अस्ति नाप्स्व् अन्तर्
नास्य सूर्यं संदृशम् एति चक्षुः ।
भूमिर् द्वेष्टि चरन्तम् एनं
यम् आनशे दुष्कृतं दैधिषव्यम् ॥

1.70.3

त्रिते देवा अमृजतैन एतत्
त्रित एनन् मनुष्येष्व् अमृष्ट ।
तत एतद् अमुया रक्ष ईर्ते
प्रमुक्तं ज्योतेर् अधि दूरम् एति ॥

1.70.4

येभिः पाशैर् दिधिषूपतिर् विबद्धः
परौपराव् आर्पितो अङ्गेअङ्गे ।
वि ते चृत्यन्तां विचृतो हि सन्ति
भ्रूणघ्नि पूषन् दुरितानि मृष्टा ॥
