ઉદ્ અસૌ સૂર્યો અગાત્
સહ વહતુના મમ ।
અહં તે મધુમતી
મધુઘાન્ મધુમત્તરા ॥

2.35.2

યદ્ ગિરિષુ પર્વતેષુ
ગોષ્વ્ અશ્વેષુ યન્ મધુ ।
સુરાયાં સિચ્યમાનાયાં
કીલાલે મધુ તન્ મયિ ॥

2.35.3

યથા સુરા યથા મધુ
યથાક્ષા અધિદેવને ।
યથા હ ગવ્યતો મન
એવા મામ્ અભિ તે મનઃ ॥

2.35.4

આ તે પદં પદેનાદિષ્ય્
આ તે મનસા મનઃ ।
પ્રત્યઞ્ચમ્ અગ્રભં ત્વા-
-અશ્વમ્ ઇવાશ્વાભિધાન્યા ॥

2.35.5

મહ્યં ત્વા દ્યાવાપૃથિવી
મહ્યં દેવી સરસ્વતી ।
મહ્યં ત્વા મધ્યં ભૂમ્યા
ઉભાવ્ અન્તૌ સમ્ અસ્યતામ્ ॥
