bhógam ā́vāhayāmi

gándham ā́vāhayāmi

śátá-krátum ā́vāhayāmi

hiraṇya-garbhás sám avartatā́gre

tváṣṭā́ram ā́vāhayāmi

rū́pá-jā́tam ā́vāhayāmi

nídhí-jam ā́vāhayāmi

plótā́dhípam ā́vāhayāmi

prájā-pate tváṃ nidhi-pā́ḥ purāṇó devā́nāṃ pitā́ janitā́ prajā́nām
pátir víśvasya jágataḥ paraspā havír no deva vihavé juṣasva[*850]
[*850] VMP divides this verse making the second line the first line of chapter 124. The numbering is adjusted so that the complete verse comes at the end of chapter 123.
