nir durarmaṇya ūrjā madhumatī vāṅ madhumatī stha |
madumatīṃ vācam udeyaṃ vāco 'haṃ mā yavam |
adabdho me gopā adabdho gopīthaḥ |
suśrutau karṇau bhadraśrutau karṇau bhadraṃ ślokaṃ śrūyāsam |
upaśrutiś ca mānuśrutiś ca mā hāsiṣṭāṃ
sauparṇaṃ cakṣur ajasraṃ jyotiḥ |
ṛṣīṇāṃ prastaro 'si namo daivāya prastarāya |
mūrdhāhaṃ rayīṇāṃ mūrdhāhaṃ samānānāṃ bhūyāsam ||
