yasyāvrātyo vrātyabruvo nāmabibhratī gṛhān atithir āgacchet |
karṣed enaṃ na cainaṃ karṣet |
etasyai devatāyā udakaṃ yācāmīty asmā udakaṃ yācet |
etāṃ devatāṃ pari veveṣmīty enaṃ pari veveṣyāt |
etasyām evāsya devatāyāṃ hutam iṣṭaṃ bhavati ya evaṃ veda ||
