स संवत्सरम् ऊर्ध्वो ऽतिष्ठत्
तं देवा अब्रुवन् व्रात्य किं नु तिष्ठसीति ।
सो ऽब्रवीद् आसन्दीं मे सं भरन्त्व् इति
तस्मा आसन्दीं सम् अभरन् ।
तस्या वसन्तश् च ग्रीष्मश् च
पूर्वौ पादव् आस्तां वर्षाश् च शरच् चापरौ ।
तं बृहच् च रथन्तरं चानूच्ये आस्तां
यज्ञायज्ञियं च वामदेव्यं च तिरश्चे ।
ऋचः प्राञ्चस् तन्तवो यजूंषि तीर्यञ्चः ।
वेद आस्तरो ब्रह्मोप बर्हणं सामासीद
उद्गीथो ऽपश्रयन्ताम् असीदत् ।
तस्य संकल्पाः प्रहास्या आसन्
देवजनाः परिष्कन्दा अप्सरसः पत्नीर् विश्वानि भूतान्य् उपसदः ।
ऐनं विश्वानि भूतानि गच्छन्ति
प्रियो विश्वेषां भूतानां भवति य एवं वेद ॥
