1.83.1

यद् आबध्नन् दाक्षायणा हिरण्यं
शतानीकाय सुमनस्यमानाः ।
तत् ते बध्नामि शतशारदाय-
-आयुष्मान् जरदष्टिर् यथासः ॥

1.83.2

नैनं रक्षांसि न पिशाचाः सहन्ते
देवानाम् ओजः प्रथमजं ह्य् एतत् ।
यो बिभर्ति दाक्षायणं हिरण्यं
स जीवेषु कृणुते दीर्घम् आयुः ॥

1.83.3

अपां रेतो ज्योतिर् ओजो बलं च
वनस्पतीनाम् उत वीर्याणि ।
इन्द्र इवेन्द्रियम् अव रुध्मो अस्मिन्
स दक्षमाणो बिभरद् धिरण्यम् ॥

1.83.4

समानां मासाम् ऋतुभिष् ट्वाहं
संवत्सरस्य पयसा पिपर्मि ।
इन्द्राग्नी त्वा ब्रह्मणा वावृधानाव्
आयुष्मन्तम् उत्तमं त्वा करातः ॥
