1.12.1

तुभ्यम् एव जरिमन् वर्धताम् अयं
मैनम् अन्ये मृत्यवो हिंसिषुस् त्वत् ।
मातेव पुत्रं प्रमना उपस्थे
मित्र एनं मित्र्यात् पात्व् अंहसः ॥

1.12.2

मित्रश् च त्वा वरुणश् च रिशादौ
जरामृत्युं कृणुतां संविदानौ ।
तद् अग्निर् होता वयुनानि विद्वान्
विश्वानि देवो जनिमा विवक्ति ॥

1.12.3

द्यौष् टे पिता पृथिवी माता
जरां मृत्युं कृणुतं दीर्घम् आयुः ।
यथा जीवा अदित्या उपस्थे
प्राणापानाभ्यां गुपितः शतं हिमाः ॥

1.12.4

त्वम् ईशिषे पशूनां पार्थिवानां
ये जाता उत ये जनित्वाः ।
मैनं प्राणो हासीन् मो अपानो
मैनं मित्रा वधिषुर् मो अमित्राः ॥
