1.12.1

તુભ્યમ્ એવ જરિમન્ વર્ધતામ્ અયં
મૈનમ્ અન્યે મૃત્યવો હિંસિષુસ્ ત્વત્ ।
માતેવ પુત્રં પ્રમના ઉપસ્થે
મિત્ર એનં મિત્ર્યાત્ પાત્વ્ અંહસઃ ॥

મિત્રશ્ ચ ત્વા વરુણશ્ ચ રિશાદૌ
જરામૃત્યું કૃણુતાં સંવિદાનૌ ।
તદ્ અગ્નિર્ હોતા વયુનાનિ વિદ્વાન્
વિશ્વાનિ દેવો જનિમા વિવક્તિ ॥

દ્યૌષ્ ટે પિતા પૃથિવી માતા
જરાં મૃત્યું કૃણુતં દીર્ઘમ્ આયુઃ ।
યથા જીવા અદિત્યા ઉપસ્થે
પ્રાણાપાનાભ્યાં ગુપિતઃ શતં હિમાઃ ॥

ત્વમ્ ઈશિષે પશૂનાં પાર્થિવાનાં
યે જાતા ઉત યે જનિત્વાઃ ।
મૈનં પ્રાણો હાસીન્ મો અપાનો
મૈનં મિત્રા વધિષુર્ મો અમિત્રાઃ ॥
