મરીચિર્ આસીત્ સા મનસઃ સમ્ અભવત્ ।
સા પ્રવીયત સા ગર્ભમ્ અધત્ત ।
સ ગર્ભો ઽવર્ધત સ વૃદ્ધો ઽબ્રવીજ્ જાયા ઇતિ ।
તસ્યૈ પ્રજાપતિર્ અજુહોત્ સ્વધિષ્ઠાના ચેતિ સ્વધિચરણા ચેતિ ।
પ્રજાપતિઃ સસૃજે કપાલે વિજિહીથાં મા મા સં તાપ્તં મહાન્તં લોકમ્ અભિપશ્યમાને
સો ઽજાયત તસ્ય જાતસ્ય દ્યાવાપૃથિવી પાર્શ્વે આસ્તાં સમુદ્રૌ કુક્ષી સૂર્યાચન્દ્રમાસાવ્ અક્ષી વિરાટ્ શિરઃ ।
તસ્માજ્ જાતાત્ સર્વે પાપ્માનો વિજન્તે સર્વે અસ્માત્ પાપ્માનો વિજન્તે ય એવં વેદ ॥
