यास् ते शतं धमनयः
सहस्राणी च विंशतिः ।
बभ्रोर् अश्वस्य वारेण-
-अपि नह्यामि ता अहम् ॥

शतस्य ते धमनीनां
सहस्रस्यायुतस्य च ।
दृतेः पादम् इव सारथिर्
अपि नह्यामि यद् बिलम् ॥

1.94.3

परमस्यां परावति
शुष्को भण्डुश् च तिष्ठतः ।
ततः शुष्कस्य शुष्मेण
तिष्ठन्तु लोहिनीर् अपः ॥

1.94.4

परि वः सिकतामयं
मरुं बिले वपामसि ।
यकच् चिद् अस्रवीत् पुरा
तकच् चिद् अशमीद् इदम् ॥
