वर्चस्वान् असि देवेषु
वर्चस्वान् ओषधीष्व् आ ।
अथो वर्चस्विनं कृधि
यम् अश्वत्थाधिरोहसि ॥

1.79.2

यम् अश्वत्थो अध्यरुक्षद्
राजा मनुष्यं जनम् ।
इन्द्रम् इव वि मृधो हनत्
तस्माद् राष्ट्रम् अनपच्युतम् ॥

1.79.3

आरोहो नाम वा असि
सहस्वान् उद् अजायथाः ।
तं त्वा सपत्नसासहम्
अश्वत्थ बिभराद् अयम् ॥

1.79.4

राजा वा असि भूतानाम्
ऋषभो वीरुधां पतिः ।
स नः सपत्नान् अश्वत्थ
विषूचो व्य् उद् आ कृधि ॥
