તસ્મૈ વાત ઉષા હિઙ્ કૃણોતિ
સવિતા ભૂત્યા પ્ર સ્તૌતિ
બૃહસ્પતિર્ ઊર્જયોદ્ગાયતિ ત્વષ્ટા પુષ્ટ્યા પ્રતિ હરતિ વિશ્વે દેવા નિધનમ્ ।
નિધનં ભૂત્યાઃ પ્રજાયાઃ પશૂનાં ભવતિ ય એવં વેદ ॥
તસ્મા ઉદ્યન્ત્ સૂર્યો હિઙ્કૃણોતિ
સંગવઃ પ્ર સ્તૌતિ
મધ્યન્દિન ઉદ્ગાયત્ય્ અપરાહ્ણઃ પ્રતિ હરત્ય્ અસ્તંયન્ નિધનમ્ ।

તસ્મા અભ્રો ભવન્ હિઙ્ કૃણોતિ
વિદ્યોતમાનઃ પ્ર સ્તૌતિ
સ્તનયન્ન્ ઉદ્ગાયતિ વર્ષન્ પ્રતિ હરત્ય્ ઉદ્ગૃહ્ણન્ નિધનમ્ ।

અતિથીન્ પ્રતિ પશ્યતિ હિઙ્ કૃણોત્ય્
અભિ વદતિ પ્ર સ્તૌત્ય્
ઉદકં યાચત્ય્ ઉદ્ગાયત્ય્ ઉપ હરતિ પ્રતિ હરત્ય્ ઉચ્છિષ્ટં નિધનમ્ ।
